I didn’t have anything to write up this August because I took the month off from smoking. Just something I do every once and a while. August is so hot here it usually takes away my desire to smoke since I do most of my smoking outdoors. My last cigar before my break was an Anejo #77 (a Shark) which was phenomenal. I ended my break a little early last week with a Camacho Diploma. Always a fantastic cigar flavor wise, but this one had a very light draw in addition to the usual minor burn issues that all diplomas seem to suffer from. Still one of my favorite smokes though. I hope to try some new stuff in September, or at least do a few write-ups on some old favorites that I haven’t written about yet.

The author at CigarEnvy suggests that 60% RH is recommended for corojo gars since they tend to absord more moisture. I tried it and all of my Diploma burn issues went away. Great to have straight clean burn on my favorite cigar. Give it a shot!
