The much anticipated Tatuaje Tubos cigars hit the shelves this week. The Tatuaje Blacks are a favorite of mine so I picked up a box of them and grabbed 2 of the Red Tubed Havana VI Verocus as well. The presentation of these cigars is beautiful. The boxes are huge (it didn’t fit in my converted wine fridge humidor)and the tubes are beautiful. I am going to give these a few months to acclimate to my humidor and them I’ll be firing a couple of these up for some reviews.
Here is one of each cigar outside the tubes.

Beautiful…just beautiful!
I cant even explain how jealous i am! We are trying to get them in at the shop, hopefully they will show up and i can buy a few before we put them out on the shelves and they fly outta there!
Any idea about how much these are going to retail for?
The Blacks are $140 a box + tax and the reds are $110 a box + tax
Wow! That’s really kewl, but really expensive too! I love the darn black, such a sweet spicy delight. Enjoy!
Lucky…
Finally got my hands on a few of these, 2 blacks and a red. Think ill smoke the black on christmas day!
I have a box of Tat red tubos arriving soon with a few blacks. Do I store them in my humidor in the tube or out of the tubes they arrive in? Can someone. Help me? Thanks
You will get a lot of different answers to that question. He is my feelings on it based on personal experience. I always remove tubed cigars from their tubes. I find when stored out of a humidor the cigars dry out, when stored in a humidor cigars inside tubes tend to be mold prone. I don’t have any scientific explanation for this, it is just what I have experienced over the years myself. I find the cigars do much much better out of the tubes in a well maintained humidor. There are some who will say they are meant to keep in the tubes for a while. In my experience that is a myth. All the cigars you see in the pictures on this post have been removed from their tubes and put into my humidor. YMMV but there is my $.02
